Under the guidance of School of Social Work faculty member Tiffany Price, clinical instructor and education specialist with the Family and Children’s Resource Program, interns with the N.C. Head Start Collaboration Special Project Office are conducting a literature review of effective, evidence-based practices for delivering high quality family partnership-building techniques and case management services to at-risk families with young children.
The interns — Stacie Poulin, Lethia Lee and Mandy Adkins — were selected from a statewide competitive process to assist the Office with the pursuit of its 10 federal priorities.
The goal of this project is to strengthen family support services in all Head Start programs in North Carolina. When complete, the literature review will be featured in a Head Start publication.
The N.C. Head Start State Collaboration Office is one of five programs making up the Office of Early Learning within the N.C. Department of Public Instruction.
