Faculty briefs: Bledsoe, Carlton-LaNey, Farrell

Assistant Professor Betsy Bledsoe, Ph.D. has an article published in the most recent issue of Research on Social Work Practice, entitled “Effects of Correctional-Based Programs for Female Inmates: A Systematic Review.” Co-authors are Stephen J. Tripodi, Johnny S. Kim and Kimberly Bender.

Professor Iris Carlton-LaNey, Ph.D. spoke at the 25th Annual Ronald E. McNair Commemorative Celebration and 10th National Research Symposium on Jan. 26 at North Carolina A&T State University. The conference hosted McNair Scholars from nearly 50 colleges and universities across the U.S. Her session was entitled “You Have Earned Your Ph.D.! ‘Now What’?”

Professor Walter Farrell, Ph.D. is quoted in the Independent Weekly newspaper’s story, “What white liberals can learn about Wake schools.”
