Esther Tyler Walton, MSW ’69, 73, died quietly surrounded by friends and family, Oct. 20, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Walton, MSW ’69 of Wanchese, N.C.; and her children, Catherine Sellers, Jay Roberson and Erica Walton.
Mrs. Walton was also a graduate of ECU. She retired as a clinical social worker for UNC Hospitals after 30 years of service.
