Faculty and doctoral students present in Portland

A number of faculty and students from the School of Social Work participated in the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) annual program meeting in Portland, Ore., Oct. 14-17. This year’s theme was “Promoting Sustainability in Social Work.”

Presenters from UNC included faculty members Betsy Bledsoe, Rebecca Brigham, Iris Carlton-LaNey, Mimi Chapman, Mat Despard, emerita Dee Gamble, Melissa Grady, Anne Jones, Sarah Naylor, Joelle Powers, Amelia Roberts-Lewis, and Anna Scheyett; doctoral students Carmen Crosby, Carrie Pettus-Davis and Tracy Wike; and master’s student Karla Rosenberg.

Linda Wilson, Sarah Naylor and Travis Albritton staffed the School of Social Work booth at the conference.
