Gist reelected to Carrboro Board of Aldermen

In November, Jacquelyn Gist, MSW ’85, was elected to serve her sixth four-year term on the Carrboro Board of Aldermen. She has now served for over 20 years.

“I use my social work background to try and serve all of the people of my town,” said Gist.

For 18 years, Gist has served as the career counselor for nonprofits and social work at UNC-Chapel Hill Career Services, where she works with many MSW students.
