• more likely to own a house, and have a lower average mortgage

• less likely to be employed in jobs that offer pensions

Compared to NC older adults, they are

• more likely to be in executive, professional, and technical positions

• less likely to own a house—especially the younger boomers

• less likely to be sure of a pension in those positions
